  TITLE: Closer (Funk You Like an Animal)
  ARTIST: Jason Wendel, MUMET 426 class
This is a funky remake of that classic Nine Inch Nails song. It was recorded as a class for MUMET426. I sang on lead vocals. Casie Berger, Drew Malott, and Shannon Lough sang backup. Dan Clark was on Percussion, and the horn section included Scott Peterson, David Howard and Shannon Lough. Drew Malott played guitars and Greg Rodgers played bass. Each student created their own separate mix. This version was mixed by Jason Wendel and tracked with the assistance of Jeff Seitz.

  TITLE: Nebular Assimilation
  ARTIST: Jason Wendel
Nebular Assimilation is a computer music piece created using CSound for the source files and composed using Cakewalk Sonar. Csound is a programming language designed and optimized for sound rendering and signal processing. The language consists of over 450 opcodes which allow the sound designer to build "instruments" or patches. Although there are an increasing number of graphical "front-ends" for the language, you typically design and modify your patches using a word processor. This program uses the score and orchestra approach for creating pieces. Composed, mixed, and produced by Jason Wendel.

  TITLE: New Adventures in Frequency Modulation

New Adventures in Frequency Modulation is another computer music piece. Source sounds were created using Max/MSP, Kontakt and Reaktor. These were later composed into a piece using Cakewalk Sonar. Although the piece consists mainly of frequency modulated sounds, I did end up using a few other processes for the final composition. Composed, mixed, and produced by Jason Wendel.

  TITLE: Fatigué de Chronoscopic

Fatigué de Chronoscopic (The Tired Clock) was my first Musique Concrète composition. Pioneered by Pierre Schaeffer in 1948, Musique Concréte was the first type of Electronic Music to ever be created. Modern categories of Electronic Music include Synthesizer music and Computer music. Most Electronic pieces today encompass all three subcategories. Composed, mixed, and produced by Jason Wendel.

  TITLE: Neutrino Storm

Neutrino Storm is a sound mass piece done using midi. Samples were uploaded to a Kurzweil K2000 keyboard and sequenced using Digital Performer. Final touches were done in SoundForge. Composed, mixed, and produced by Jason Wendel.
